I am sure you are all aware of the COVID-19 problem. We at MISC, Maguire Upper Limb, The Carpal Tunnel Clinic and SOS want to assure you that we will continue to stay open and function as normally as possible during this difficult time. As a Private Clinic, separate from the Public and Private Hospital Systems, we are well-positioned to avoid issues related to the Coronavirus.

Appointments will be spaced out appropriately to maintain social distancing rules and regulations. As a courtesy to all patients, we would like to go through a screening checklist to minimise the exposure of our clinic to the Coronavirus.

If you answer ‘yes’ to any of the following questions, please contact one of our friendly staff members before leaving home to attend the clinic. The staff member will discuss with our doctors to determine if it is appropriate for you to attend your appointment.

1. Are you currently feeling unwell?
2. Have you had any of the following symptoms in the last 14 days? Sore throat, cough or fever?
3. Have you been exposed to anyone with a confirmed case of the Coronavirus?
4. Have you recently travelled abroad (within the last 3 months)?
5. Have you been exposed to anyone who has exhibited symptoms of the Coronavirus?
6. Do you feel lethargic or tired?

Please contact the rooms to confirm that you answered ‘no’ to all questions above before attending your appointment.

Before visiting our clinic, please follow all the necessary precautions, including avoiding contact with areas where Coronavirus cases have been reported, refraining from crowds and social gatherings, washing your hands regularly or using hand sanitiser, maintaining a social distancing of at least 1.5 meters, and avoiding touching your face or coughing into your hands.

Our Clinics are committed to the health, safety and well-being of not only our employees and their families, but also our patients and their family members.

We are aware of and well-prepared for the COVID-19 issue and are confident that our clinic is safe.

If you are concerned about visiting our clinic and would prefer not to attend, or if you are currently symptomatic, our doctors may consider offering phone or Skype (video) consultations to ensure our patients receive the help and treatment they need.
